my username is megmer, which is short for megmer87, which is short for megmer870, which is short for megagamer870, a username i made as a joke in middle school. my pfp (the thing raining down on your browser right now) is an edited version of an edited version of an edited version of a photo of my face that i took in middle school (i need to make a new one)

my interests include, but are not limited to origami, (e)biking, tech repair, leftism, semi-ironic fashion, digital privacy, open source software, selfhosted software, rooting jailbreaking and homebrewing, videogames, piracy, emulation, archival, headphones, cassetes, boomboxes, percussion, writing fiction but never finishing it, and making this website.
